The city of Novi Sad is the capital of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the second largest city in Serbia. It is the educational, scientific, cultural, and administrative centre of the country’s northern region. Novi Sad is easy to reach from all directions. It is a city of rich and diverse cultural heritage and a melting pot of its many nations, cultures, education, science, and traditions. The city of Novi Sad is home to the University of Novi Sad, one of the largest educational and research centers in Central Europe with over 50000 students, that belongs to the group of comprehensive universities. It is the regional educational and research centre, recognized for its international openness and achievements. It is the home of the Matica srpska – the oldest cultural-scientific institution of Serbia, the Serbian National Theatre, the Sterijino pozorje Theatre Festival and many other important institutions and cultural events. Lectures will be held at the University of Novi Sad, and the clinical work will be conducted at the Oncology Institute of Vojvodina.
